Robnor ResinLab, leading formulator of epoxy and polyurethane resin systems, is pleased to announce the launch of their new bio-based epoxy resin PX806C.
What are the Advantages of Bio-Based Epoxy Resins?
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainable product development, PX806C has been created as an eco-friendly alternative to petrochemical based epoxies. This bio-based epoxy resin provides a more sustainable production environment while maintaining the same high quality and level of performance expected from Robnor products.
Key Characteristics of PX806C:
The characteristics of PX806C ensure high performance and durability even in challenging conditions. Black in colour and carrying a UL94-V0 flame retardant rating, this hard-tough epoxy exhibits high thermal conductivity and high electrical resistivity under elevated temperatures. PX806C also provides good impact strength, as well as improved stress relief and crack protection.
Recommended Applications:
Designed for general-purpose potting of PCB’s and electronic components, this resin offers very good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates. It is also suitable for use on low surface energy substrates when used in conjunction with a pre-treatment or primer.
Robnor ResinLab PX806C is RoHS and REACH compliant and can be purchased in a ready to use 500g twinpack. Other pack sizes are available on request.
